My new job, A Cleaner!

真得无法想象! 我怎么会去找份清洁工作? 还是全职的!
这也许是有缘吧!   为甚么我一点都没抗拒或排斥呢?  还相当满意呢!
选着这份工作 主要是为了健康  希望能有规律性的工作 来鞭策自己

除了偶尔当当义工  在家无所事事  身子容易疲惫 也越来越胖了.
无法久坐的原故  不能找份朝九晚五 办公室的工作 或 工厂的工作
平时在家  只是打一篇稿子  就花了几个钟头或两三天才够完成
除非有份 站站 坐坐 活动 活动的工作  总比 " 坐以待毙 " 的好.


家里许久没买小报了  那天大妹回家来  顺道带来几份过期的小报
闲来无事 便翻了翻  阅读 已过了两天的小报  来到刊登广告版
看一看小报里有刊登些甚么工作   可否能找到一份 较适合自己的工做
住家位于东北部  除了饮食业或 门事业  家附近 兼职工作较为难找
退休后 除了到成药房当了几个月的兼职工   却严重地要住院两回
托儿所助理 或 托儿所清洁工都好  换个跑道看看自己能否识应.
.

报章里看到几则托儿所请 助理的广告 发现其中一家 就在家附近
却是要" 清洁工" ! 打电话 迅问看看 接听电话的那把清脆 又亲切声音
后来上班后才知是她是老板 而且来自中国  能在异乡开拓事业 还相当本事
开办托儿所  是非 一般的"生意"   真得佩服中国人的创业经神.

老板一见面 便说我看起来比实际年纪 年轻得多 她在电话里问过我年龄
之后大概地 说了我的工作任务  听上去是不难的工作  都象是一般家务
只是量多了些  偶尔厨房负责煮食的安娣拿病假或假期 我须负责煮一两顿
哦! 天呀!  真得难倒我了 我立刻告诉她 我无法胜任了
我也不隐瞒 我的一切  年过半百的我  除了电饭锅煮饭 煎蛋 煮快熟面
从未煮过一顿饭菜 给我的家人吃  并非想逃避一些不想工作的借口
也许 "急迫" 找到人手  老板 "勉强" 说  "不会煮不要紧 我们到时看着办....."
若那一天 来临  "我们" 该怎么办呢??  .............我真不敢想象.....    


就在同一天里  我们家小仓鼠过世了  面完试 回家的路上小妹 来电说道
小仓鼠走了!   归心似箭  刚刚面试的情节完全消失到无影无踪了.

直到隔天女老板 至电给我  过两天你先来试工 看看你适应吗?
其实我知道   女老板 "不看好" 我    她心想  我一定无法 胜任这种" 粗活"
不如让你试试看  肯定你受不了 她还有时间再找人  离月底还有十天..........

好累哦! 腰酸背痛!

MY new job, A Cleaner

I never ever come across my mind  One day I be a cleaner, A permanent staff !

I think I am fated to these Job?  Why I didn't rejected nor walk off but accepted it with joice!

Our home haven brought any of the local Newspaper for quite sometimes,

One day, My Sister came home and brought along a few back dated newspapers,

That particular Morning I was bored with nothing to do, I flick through the newspapers

Come to the Advertisement page,  I was wondering what kind of Job the local paper had.

I staying at North east area, whereby surrounding many retail premises or Food N Beverage outlets.

Retail jobs have to stand throughout the working hours and Office job may have to sit for hours 

after my retirement 3 years ago,  once got a part-time job at the Pharmacy, end up twice in Hospital.

After my operation and having Thrombosis  which then I can't stand too long in the fully air-con outlet
nor can I sitting too long hours in an office .
Once a while helping with charity work, but most of the time feel boring at home

I am  getting fatter and fatter, putting on weight and easily felt tire after walking a distant. 

When I saw the advertisement  of Childcare Center looking for teacher assistant, 

One of the Center just nearby my place but they looking for a Cleaner !

I never gave it a thought and straight I phone to the Childcare Center,  

not even realising whether can I really cope with the Job or did I really need the Job??

A lady with very gentle and sweet voice answer my call , first asking for my age and 

where I do stay?   And whether can I to go down for an interview that same day.

When she first saw me was very astonished :  " OH, You look very much younger than your age."

And She is my Boss, a Young lady in her 30's  and she is from China, 

She is really ability to start a business in a foreign country,  is not that simple nor easy to start off a 

Childcare center not even many of our locals can manage or wanted with such business line.

She roughly told me what of my duty lies,  sweeping, mopping, cleaning mattresses for the kids

and sometimes must do some cooking if the Cook is on sick leave.  OH ! That really got Me!

                             

I told her I Really do not know how to cook,  not that I do not want the cooking.

Though I am 50 plus, I never even cook a meal for my family before.

Maybe just plain rice from the Cooker and  instant noodles or fried eggs that what I can cook.

Maybe She was too desperate to get a Cleaner, so she said that we will discuss the matter
if  really the day exist,  that is not so important as she said with confident,
But what if it is really happen? then what shall we do ??

I was wondering ................................

On my way home after the Interview, I got a call from my sister,
Our precious Hamster has passed away!  Immediately I rushed home
My heart was sang and my mind was so whirl , athough all of us was
well prepared that Our hamster was leaving us very soon.

Our little hamster was in very bad condition  few days before it passed away. 

The interview matters was disappeared thoroughly and was totally forgotten
until the next day the Childcare Boss gave me A call ,
she wanted me to have a try with the help of the current cleaner 

to show me the routine job whereby I must follow after she left the center.

I know the Boss was no confident with me, to handle such a JOB as a Cleaner,
because I  told her my past and what I was before my retirement.

Thinking I might Quit after the try, and she still had times to look for another person

to take over  the current cleaner where she was still working till the end of the month.

Last year we went for holiday , left him alone for 4 days,
sometimes he got difficulty climbing in and out of the cage ,
 to make the cage floor much higher and easy for him ,
my sister sew a special and cosy mattress for him.
SEE!  the way he slept, how comfortable!

去年我们去联邦游玩, 它独自在家四天

特地做个睡垫, 主要是为了垫高笼子地面

食物和水都摆笼子外 为了方便它能爬进爬出,

因太胖的关系  它要爬出笼子较为辛苦.

 看它睡得多舒服!

将它放在 刚买来的白盒子 它很不习惯 老想爬进去笼子里.

746 Days / 柒百肆十陆天

Rest In Peace  My Precious.

Our precious Hamster left  peacefully  this morning,
It had being with us for 746 days since 1st. June 2012,
2 years and 16 days since it came to us  by its OWN.
These 746 days, its brought to us plenty of joys and memories.

Remember when it first came to our house, the little one was so thin
and dirty with patches of  fur gone,  its reddish skin can be seen clearly.
And about 2 months after we fed him, its become so chubby  and cute!
Hamster lifespan is about 2 to 3 years, we do not know how old it was.

Though its ready sad to see its Gone, especially to my elderly mother and sister
but we being prepared for the worst to come since last 2 months.

I got a very COSY coffin for it, and buried it under a tree below my flat.
May Our Precious Hamster get to the pure land with no more suffer and pain,
and will not to come back as an animal anymore in the next life.

我们的小倉鼠  今天早上 安祥地走了
和我们相处了 746 天 , 带给我们无限的欢乐和回亿.
记得2012 年六月一号 我把它抱进我们家那一刻起
它已经是我们家的宝贝 它刚来时 身子瘦小又脏兮兮
毛发脱落 见到红嫩嫩的皮肤 不过 养了两个月
白白 又 胖嘟嘟地 像一粒白色毛球 非常可爱.


倉鼠的寿命大概两三年  所以它有多大岁数我们不清楚,

两个月前开时 不大爱吃东西 身子开时瘦下来
我们早已有心里准备 知道 它快圆寿了
我为它准备了一副美观又很舒适的 "棺木"
但愿我们的小倉鼠  离苦得乐 往生西方净土
来生不堕落 畜生道 . 阿弥陀佛!

宝贝! 安息吧!

Little Hamster  *{{ Wretch/ 25-07-2012}}

Our little hamster came to my house 1st.June 2012.

The hamster hidden itself just outside my house under the shoe-rack of my neighbour's for nearly a week.

One night,  I came home alone, wanted to open the main gate and suddenly I saw a little white hamster,   very fast it disappear under  the shoe-rack.

 I didn't make a noise as my opposite neighbour's door was open then.

In the middle of the night, I slice a few pieces of the red carrots,

dip with the water and place it outside my house near our shoe-rack,

next morning all the carrots was gone. I know it still somewhere under

my neighbour's shoe-rack. These go on nearly a week.

June school holidays, my 2 little nieces came over to stay with us,

while they playing in the house, our main door open with the gate locked.

My neighbour's son and his girlfriend saw the hamster while going out.

She scream so loudly and the entire family came out to see what was happening?

My nieces shouted Hampster! Hamster!  Auntie It's A Hamster outside!

My neighbour's  teenage son, happily took the hamster with him

wanted to bring it to his house, but I can heard his parent shouting

" Throw it away! Don't you dare bring it in! Quick! throw it away."

Luckily, The teenage boy just left it on the stair way and goes home.

Sleeping 

Few minutes later, my nieces came to me: "Auntie!

the little Hamster is just outside our door!" They are so excited!

I quickly go take a look, the little hamster  trying to climbed up my

doorstep. I quietly open our gate and took it in with my bare hand.

I call my sis-in-law for a cage as they had hamster pets before.
And ask them how to keep a hamster as I never had experience before.
My brother told me that the hamster can't touch water nor to bathe it.

I went to gets some hamster's  food and  Sand for bathing.

But it seem do not like pet's food, so we fed him with cook rice,               

like to hide under the waste bag!

he love it and it can finish a tea-spoon full of the cook rice.

It seem do not like to eat carrot during the day time, maybe

it get used to eat the carrot after midnight, becos I been feeding him

nearly a week during the period it taking refuged outside my house.

Remember 2 months ago, when the little hamster came to my house,

it was skinny with reddish skin can be seen as most fur drop off.
Now, it is a chubby little fellow, when it craddle it body together,

it like a white fur ball, it looks really like the computer's game

When the weather too hot,  I bathe the little hamster

with water and now he is used to water bath.

During the Night,  We turn on the bedroom air-condition

and bring the hamster in. I put a small towel for him as a blanket,

and he love it so much, every now and then he must has his blanket.

It was fried beehoon! ( rice noodles) !
It's is his favourite.

My hamster (3) - Alone at home for four days!

Last Friday, We being to Malaysia for four days tour,
with my mother and 2 sisters.

Our pet hamster was alone for four days,

 Once we thought of bringing him along.
But it was impossible to smuggle him going through
the immigration custom.
It may be suffocated to death if we were not careful,

Or it maybe caught by the custom officiers.

And that will be "Great News" on newspaper!
That was just kidding.

We been discussing what to prepare for him,
We left him with plenty of carrots and sunflower seeds,
Carrots is no more his favourite, he love celeries,
long beans, cabbages, wholemeal bread and pork floss.
Only carrots and sunflower seeds that can last for few days,
The others will turn bad or like the pork floss will invite ants.

Our fatty hamster,  he likes to climb in and out of his cage,
he can easily go in but is hard for him to climb out by it own,
so we planned to let our fatty hamster move about easily by it own.
My sis make a "comfortable bed" for him, the main purpose of it
was to make the " ground" higher  so that he can

going in and out easily when we are not around at home.

We also make him a pool of sand for the hamster to " bath" .

Once we reached home, the first things was look at our fatty hamster,
he messed up the whole place, the carrots and sunflower seeds was
scattered all the places, it urine stains and it's faeces was everywhere

except on its Bed!  It bed and towel was not stained with urine.

Very miraculous and how lovely he is,
he never never urined on his blanket
(towels) , its wheel nor his "Bed".


He was outside the cage and stood on one corner,
looking very lonesome and immediately he look up as my mom
call him softly " lao shu" we are home now. How are you?

He stare blurry for 30 seconds, like he can't believe what he see.

Our luggages left aside, my mom and sis clean up his "bangalow" first.
My mom pinch a bit of chicken meat we brought home he finished in second.
He went back to sleep soundly after the whole place was cleaned up.

Our Fatty Hamster   (( 29-06-2013))


JUNE was an Anniversary of Our Fat Hamster,
who came to our place last year by its own. 

Now he is Our family Precious member,
especially to my elderly mother, whom always
afraid the fatty hamster is hungry.
Whatever we ate, he eat too!

Dinner time, he is the First one to be served,          
My mom will scoop a tea-spoon of rice to him first.
Our wholemeal bread always has tiny holes with it,
my mom like to pinch a bit of the bread to fed it.

Fatty hamster  loves soya bean and milk,

my family do not take fresh milk ,      
the little fellow do not drink that much,
and if the milk kept for more than a day,
the little fellow will not look at it.
so we stop the fresh milk.

Normally, we fed it with vegetables like cabbages,
long beans, celeries, carrots, bean spouts
unpolished rice, cook rice.
Our snack time, from nuts, biscuits, cake,
even fry rice noodles, and fruits like oranges.

It loves sweet oranges.
We pinch abit of what we ate and give it to him.
He will hold the food with both hand tightly if he like it,
he smell and walk away if he do not like it.

Initially, I was hesitating want to bath him with water
or not, were he died after the water bath?
But the weather was hot and humid, and found the
sand bath was not that clean, still got the odd smell.
The first time water bath, It struggle and cling on the
towel don't let go of it. Now he no more scare of going
water bath,  he watch quietly as the water running
down the tap.

The first time outside the cage, he trying to bite open the gate.

If the weather is hot, it likes to sleep on its back
with it four tiny toes facing up.
I thought it was dead when the first time I saw him
sleeping still on its back.
he can sleep more than an hour or two if nobody disturb it.

It is too fat that he often fall off the wheel .
It is a cute little fellow, he never urined on the wheel
or his blanket (the towel) .
It will came down from the wheel or came out
from the blanket ( he likes to hide itself under the blanket)
if he wanted  to pee.

After the water bath

小倉鼠~ 我家寶貝 (1)

最先將我們家寶貝搬遷到eBlogger  主要是小倉鼠的照片很多

試試將它的照片及錄影放上來 而且小倉鼠一向的"人氣" 很旺.

就由它來打頭陣!

我們家來了隻小倉鼠, 除了耳朵帶點黑和褐色,  全身都是白色的, 很可愛也很惹人憐惜.
一天夜里, 我出街回家 正想打開大門時,
突然! 從鞋架下鑽出隻倉鼠,  看到了我, 馬上又鑽 進去鞋架裡去.

對面的鄰居大門開著, 我不想驚動他們.

除了碰面時, 大家點點頭打個招呼, 不乘和他們多交談過. 

他們的鞋架是非常的髒和亂, 鞋子不穿的也不扔掉, 

鞋子和鞋架上厚厚的灰塵髒得很, 就是故意這樣擺放著. 

六年了, 門外一切不趁打掃過, 不折不扣自私自利一家子.

小倉鼠肯定躲在他們鞋架下, 它是樓上哪戶人家走失的?

十七層樓, 每層樓宇有六戶人家, 它的主人怎樣去找它呢?

也許是有人故意將它放掉, 或著不小心讓它 [ 逃 ] 了!

午夜, 我削了幾片紅蘿蔔再沾點水然後放在我家鞋架旁.

隔天早上, 紅蘿蔔一條也不剩, 白天大概躲在鄰居鞋架里.

我每晚都不忘將消好的紅蘿蔔放在那, 這樣持續了有五六天.

六月初學校放假, 小弟的兩個女兒來阿嬤家度學校假期.
小朋友在客廳玩耍, 大木門開著, 鐵門是上鎖看到走廊.

鄰居兒子和女友要出門, 發現了小倉鼠 嚇得呱呱叫!
他們一家人都跑出來看個究竟, 小姪女也看到小倉鼠了.
hamster! hamster!  姑姑! 外面有 hamster! 小孩都很興奮!

鄰居的小兒子 大約有十五六歲, 雙手捧起小倉鼠要進屋去.

聽到他父母, 連聲喊道:  [ 不准帶進來! 丟掉! 快把它丟掉! ]
平時進門出門,  總是使勁地甩門的小家伙 還算有點愛心
只好將小倉鼠放在樓梯口,  還以為他將小倉鼠帶下樓扔掉.

不一會, 小姪女很興奮跑來, 小小聲告訴我, 小倉鼠就在我門口!

我趕緊走過去看, 果真它想爬進我家, 但我家和門外的走廊,

高度相對有四五英寸, 小倉鼠爬不進, 整個身子站立著,    
一雙前腳一直在試著爬我們家的門檻, 我立刻打開鐵門,
我赤手把它抓進家, 將一張朔膠小凳子翻過來把它暫時進去

趕緊打電話給二弟媳, 和她要個小籠子, 他們家養過小倉鼠,

兩個小姪女樂得一直圍繞它, 問可不可以帶回她們家去?

我說只要她們父母允許, 就讓她們帶回去, 可是小弟不允許.

小倉鼠在外 [ 流浪] 了整個禮拜, 身子非常髒也很瘦小,
小倉鼠身上的毛脫落不少, 能見到紅嫩嫩的皮, 樣子很怕人.
從未養過小動物, 向二弟和二弟媳討教如何養小倉鼠.
特地去買特質的沙給它 [ 洗澡] 買它愛吃的食物.
二弟說倉鼠不能碰水, 不過天氣太炎熱了, 我讓它洗水澡!

很難見到它去喝水, 但它卻愛喝鮮奶, 半夜才吃紅蘿蔔

也許當初它在門外時, 只能在半夜里 放紅蘿蔔來餵它.

白天就是不肯吃紅蘿蔔, 傍晚一定吃剛剛煮熟的飯粒喔!

香噴噴的飯粒, 它可以吃上半茶匙多.

隔頓的它不吃! 鼻子嗅一嗅便走開, 嘴叼得很!

養了兩個多月, 現在當它宿起身子時, 很像粒白色毛球!

像極 電腦遊戲里 chuzzle chuzzle 白色毛球 很可愛

它喜歡在轉輪上睡, 半遍的身子都露出在轉輪外了,

胖嘟嘟的關係, 看它要爬上轉輪都很吃力 很笨拙了,

剛來時, 跳上轉輪很快, 也喜歡站立走著, 現在級少站立.

上個月, 夜間天氣悶熱到無法入睡, 臥房開冷氣,



我把小倉鼠帶進臥房, 拿了條小毛巾給它當 "被子".

現在一看到它的 [ 被子] 就鑽進去, 睡到自然醒.

夜裡臨睡前, 我在它一旁唸佛經, 它照睡
不誤.

小倉鼠已經是我們家的寶貝, 每
天話題圍繞著它.

小倉鼠來到我們家一周年了( The first anniversary )

去年學校六月假期的第一天 它不請自來 自各摸上門

從此成了我們家的一份子了 已經是我家的無所不談的寶貝

更是我老媽媽的心肝寶貝 母親最怕餓了它 甚麼都餵它吃


家裡吃甚麼 多數都會有它的一份 吃飯時 它是第一位先開動

飯一煮熟 我們在盛飯時 老母親會先舀小茶匙去餵它

媽媽會捏一小塊麵包給它 家裡的全麥麵包 常出現小小破洞喔!

偶爾媽媽喝全榖麥片 也舀一小茶匙餵那小胖子 它超愛喝喔!

豆漿奶它喜歡 鮮奶我們不大愛喝 為了它而買 它又喝不多

鮮奶隔了多天它不喝了 食物也一樣 小胖子 非常得刁嘴了


平時它的食物 都是瓜子和蔬菜 包心菜和芫須菜

偶爾要炒菜豆 折一小段給它( 它只選吃裡面的豆子)

包心菜(高麗菜)會切碎碎小小 芫須它只吃葉子 豆芽菜它也吃

剛來時 愛吃紅蘿蔔 現在太多選擇 不大愛吃紅蘿蔔了

我們吃水果也會捏一小塊餵它 最近發現它很喜歡柳丁

從蛋糕 炒米粉 肉鬆 糙米飯 我們吃甚麼 它都有份

吃到胖都都的它 嘴也很刁 喜歡的食物 它兩手來接 抱緊緊

不喜歡吃的或吃胞了 將食物靠近它 它轉身走開 或 用嘴叼了再扔開

當你看它扔東西神氣樣子 令人不禁地發笑 它樣子有多拽耶!

尤其它不喜歡的東西放在它的被被上(小毛巾)它一定叼起扔出去


一個禮拜兩次洗水澡 記得第一次它洗澡時 它看到水時它拼命地爭扎

現在洗澡時 它很乖 靜靜看你放水 我會加一點燒水 讓水不會太冷

曾經聽說小倉鼠是不能碰水的 只能用沙洗 心理還猶豫要不要替它洗水澡

用沙洗澡 覺得它很髒 有股難聞的味道 不管三七二十一啦 沖!

沖好涼 將它抹得很乾 它第一時間一定爬上那轉輪 之後再舔乾毛髮


天氣很嚴熱時 它喜歡四腳朝天地躺著睡 開始時給它嚇壞

還以為它死翹翹了 不去吵醒它 可以睡上一兩個鐘頭

有時它邊睡 咪著雙眼 嘴巴裡還一直在吃東西

倉鼠天性是會將食物先藏在嘴裡兩旁 之後慢慢地吐出來再吃掉

太胖了 睡在轉輪上 一半的身子露在外 轉身常常從轉輪上掉下來


很嚴熱的夜晚 我們將它帶進房間開空調 它鑽進被被裡不出來

它有個很讚的習慣 無論它在轉輪上睡覺 或是在被被(小毛巾)裡睡覺

它要小便時一定走出來 到另一角落去小  絕不會沾濕了它的被被

走到一旁 呆愣 幾秒  我們就知道它小便了 這點非常得可愛也令人疼惜!
